AREAS OF PROTECTED LANDSCAPES

Areas of protected landscapes cover the areas, which are taken under protection, because of their outstanding, diversified landscape. They are very valuable due to touristic matters. They also perform a function of ecological corridors.

On the area of Forest District 3 protected landscape areas are located of 3274 hectares in total (01.01.2011) established by Provincial Governors No.3 Order from 17.02.2005 regarding areas of protected landscape (Official Journal of Lubuskie province No.9 pos. 172, changes included).

- 18 - The Krosno Valley of Odra River - 13265 ha (1215 ha on the area of the forest district), location: Czerwieńsk, Sulechów, Zielona Góra

- 21 - The Nowa Sól Valley of Odra River - 9852 ha (874 ha on the area of the forest district).

- 23 - The Valley of Silesian Ochla - 10350 ha (1185 ha on the area of the forest district), location: Otyń, Zielona Góra
