NATURA 2000 AREAS

European Ecological Network Natura 2000 is a kind of system of areas connected one with each other by ecological corridors. These areas form together a coherent ecological network, of which basic task is prevention of biodiversity. It happens through protection of the most valuable and the most rare nature elements.

On the area of Przytok five areas selected within Nature 2000 European Network can be found:

- "The Valley of Middle-Odra River" - the area of special bird protection

- "Kargowa Bends of Odra River" - the area of great importance toNatu EU

- "The Nowa Sól Valley of Odra River" - the area of great importance to EU

- "Cold Water" - the area of great importance to EU

- "Otyń" - the area of great importance to EU

- "The Krosno Valley of Odra River" - the area of great importance to EU
