ECOLOGICAL SITES

Ecological sites are the Romains of ecosystems that deserve protection and are of great importance for maintenance of biological diversity, f. ex. mid-forest water ponds, swamps, mosses and sites of rare plant, animal and mushroom species. Currently there are 9.000 of them on the area of nearly 30.000 ha.

On the area of Przytok Forest District there are 28 ecological lands of 130.23 ha in total.
