The Forest District Przytok was established on 1st January 1993, on the basis of the Order No. 64 of the Minister for the Environment, Natural Resources and Forestry dated on December 31, 1992.
Currently the area of the Forest District is divided into 2 forest sub-districts and and 10 forest rangers areas.
The northern east border of the Forest District Przytok constitute the River Odra , the southern border – the River Silesian Ochla. From the west, aside the line Krępa - Zielona Góra - Ochla, the Forest District Przytok borders with the forests of the Forest District Zielona Góra.
The forests of the Forest District Przytok are located within the area of one province, two country districts, one township district and five communes.
